FINAL PRODUCT

We were tasked to design a mangement tracker called My CE for dentists to help them organize their licenses and certificates without having any confusion.

Dentists should be able to add or edit certificates and licenses with ease, and it would be an easy-to-navigate process.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Who are we making this for?

We were assigned to help dentists create a simple, yet intuitive interface that can save and access documents with ease during their stressful days with patients

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

During the ideation stage, we didn't have existing research; therefore, we began to review various companies and apps to analyze the types of trackers they used for managing information.

UT Interactive Degree Audit and Mailchimp provides the main topic and sub sections below for the progress

Both Mailchimp and UT IDA highlight completed tasks with the color green

A progress bar to showcase all the work you've done with a percentage.

We used the UT Austin IDA and Mailchimp for brainstorming our management tool. We chose these tools because with each requirement, it has sub-requirements which is what we're looking for in our management tracker

IDEATION

After conducting our competitve analysis. We began to create rough sketches on how we wanted the CE Tracker to look.

Creating our Sketches

The home page has three different sections showing the amount of hours needed and is color coordinated when it is completed

When you click on "My CE" you'll began by adding your license for the state you practice in

We designed this page minimally to ensure accessibility for dentists who may not be tech-savvy, while maintaining consistency by incorporating the company's colors.

01/HOME PAGE

You can click on "Upload a certificate," and you can upload your certificate you've received from your course

You'll need to enter information manually due to the owner's preference for a "double-proof" verification system.

02/ADDING A CERTIFICATE

You can expand the sections and see what the specific certificates are.

You can even edit and update the certificates from the menu.

The progress bar will update at every moment ensuring that it's updated at all times.

Final Design

Once we agreed, we began to work on our low-fi prototype, taking inspiration from existing platforms and creating our final design proposal.

REFLECTION/TAKEAWAYS

At the end of the semester, we were able to present our work to everyone which was an amazing experience

It was incredible working with this team as we brought in so many ideas and was fun to ideate solutions. We were also able to collaborate with the tech and product team, and be hands on with the process.
